Sex Tip #138 – Ladies, an apple a day can improve your sex life!
A study has found that a single apple a day can go a long way in improving your sex life. Here's how.
However, did you know that adding apples to your diet can also help in improving your sex life [1]? A study published in the journal of Archives of Gynaecology and Obstetrics revealed that daily apple consumption could improve sexual arousal in women.
Italian researchers enrolled 731 women between the ages of 18-43 who were asked to report their eating habits and how regularly they ate apples for one year. Along with that, they were also told to fill out a female sexual function index. The purpose of the survey was to determine their overall sexual satisfaction and how often they had sex.
Following that, it was observed that the 343 women who had an apple every day had better lubrication during sex and also performed better in bed. Apples are a rich source of antioxidants and polyphenols which help in improving blood circulation to your vagina, which makes it easier for women to achieve an orgasm.
The researchers concluded that ‘the study suggests a potential relationship between regular daily apple consumption and better sexuality in our young women population.’
